Julie Martin is the Operations Manager at Martin Insurance and Investments, Inc., where she brings over 35 years of entrepreneurial experience and a passion for client relations. Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Julie attended the University of Texas-Pan American, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. During her high school and college years, she owned her own business, which laid the foundation for her robust career journey. After college, Julie entered the retail sector, starting in a managerial role at Toys'R'Us and eventually becoming a store director. Leaving the retail world behind, she ventured back into entrepreneurship, a path that has fueled her passion to this day.
Julie continues to run her own business while supporting the office and top-notch staff at Martin Insurance & Investments, Inc., enjoying a role that allows her to connect with clients. Julie finds great joy in getting to know clients and cherishes the opportunity to catch up with their lives, making every interaction meaningful.
Married to Keith for 29 years, she is a proud mother of two sons—one with an MBA in Finance working for a multinational conglomerate, and the other a dedicated medical student with aspirations of becoming a surgeon. Julie's home is filled with love, including a Doberman, as well as a rescue dog and cat. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, gardening, and cooking.
